FanBase Throw Back
It’s time once again to travel back in times. This time we go back to the original FanBase. Due to an earned she had to run in Miami Noe couldn’t make it to the show so it was back to the original line up Danny Ryde, Krysta, Evil Jeff and Big B. Our boss Dean Piper Interviewed horror punk band The Murder Dolls so things start off a little unusual (for our show) but after the interview were back to our natural random selves. Since it is the first show of the month, Dean gives Danny a whack with the Baka nai. We talk about whether people prefer big cons or little cons. We give our review of Saki (the Yuri mahjhong anime). This is a classic show full of fun and of course randomness

Comics and Kaiju
On this issue of FanBase we talk about comics and kaiju Monsters. We try a new way of delivering all our announcements. Also we talk with the Owner of the Max Toy Company Mark Nagata about kaiju monsters. We discus what exactly a kaiju monster is, Marks work as a free lance artist/illustrator, his magazine Super 7, Danny talks a little bit about Ultra Man, how mark got started in toy collecting. We also talk about his lecture on kaiju monsters at the Morikami Museum(www.morikami.org). Our comic topic is What comic books would you like to see turned into an anime. That’s what happens in this exciting issue of FanBase.

EPIC FAIL
On this episode of Fanbase its a special 3 hour episode and we talk about a Phenomenon that occurs through every Otaku universe, the EPIC Fail. With the Help of our special guest Marika (Who Many have proclaimed as an Anime expert) we discuss examples of epic fails in Anime, Videogames, Comics, and Movies. The hosts also do there fair share of Fail as the 3 hour special sorta through everyone off there game a bit and tension runs high between Danny Ryde and Big B. This is a show that is full of random geek fun lots of weird news and of course plenty of FAIL. enjoy

Zonacon Aftermath
(Old School FanBase 12-03-2009) This episode is dedicated to reviewing our trip to Zonacon. But first, after missing Zonacon and showing up late for the show Evil Jeff starts the episode by receiving a much deserved ass beating from the other hosts. With that out of the way Danny, Big B, and Noe give you the lowdown on everything that happened at Zonacon. B gets some random beatings thanks to the chatroom and Danny gets a beating or two thanks to some technical difficulties. After the arcade block though things take a bizarre turn when Evil Jeff offends a female listener, setting the stage for a epic clash of fanboy vs yaoi fangirl! Come and witness the age old struggle play out in this classic episode of FANBASE!!! Oh, and we also had a round table, but you know you’re just here for the yaoi fight.

Comic Fashion and New Heroes
Last week on FanBase we were all about Comics. Despite Danny having computer problems we were able to get the show going just proving how awesome the FanBase crew are(shameless plug). The topics we talked about were new secret identities and superhero fashion. Evil picks out the sugar that gets mixed opinions and Danny goes off on a rant about a new cartoon hitting the air waves and Evil gets an inquisition because of certain reasons. However on the next show both Danny and Evil will get proper punishments for breaking the geek rule. A good show with a bit derailment and plenty of randomness.
